"It was an hour in the dark, with taped recordings, four very young and attractive performers, ten video screens, and a killer set that looked like a Rube Goldberg experiment gone haywire, with all the wires and bells and whistles. Kenneth Collins is a genius to be watched." - Hi! Drama

Entrapment, surveillance, love, suicide and psychosis are just some of the subjects of Someone In the Ghost Box Told Me It Was You.

Piecing together shattered memories, Victor begins to realize he may have murdered his lover on a subway platform. But is there actually another force at work that feeds off of Victor’s darkness and confusion?

A multilingual performance in English, French and Portuguese, this non-linear narrative of vice, crime and drugs follows a cast of sinister and sensual characters through the past and future of their own unconscious minds.

"The claustrophobic box is a highly effective dramatic tool, as it becomes a symbol that changes in the mind of the audience based on whatever text is being uttered by the performers. This technique of staging the play almost entirely within these extremely limited spaces, a technique that this company has worked with before, is reason enough to check out one of Temporary distortion’s works. You are not likely to have seen anything quite like it." - NYtheater.com

"The box is a near flawless creation...For what is fundamentally a static structure, changes to it are made beautifully by small, but significant, additions of lights and props. The colored fluorescent lights within the box make huge changes to the onstage world and the sound design is almost equally sophisticated, which augurs well for this company’s future...this group could very well begin producing staggering original work." - NYtheater.com
